I visited Virsa with my family last Friday after randomly searching for goat curry, and I’m so glad we did! We chose this place after seeing all the tempting photos in the reviews and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
Khadija greeted us with a warm smile and helped us with our order, even explaining the difference between a curry and a karahi, which was a nice touch. We ordered the full Goat Karahi, served in a traditional Pakistani-style karahi. The meat was tender, perfectly cooked in black spices and yogurt - rich, flavourful, and authentic.
The portion size was generous, and for a moment, I honestly felt like I was eating Butt Karahi from Lakshmi Chowk in Lahore. Kudos to the chef and the management team. This is hands down the best goat karahi I’ve had, not just in Brisbane but anywhere in Australia!
